Application Instructions & Guide

1. To be eligible for Summer Honors, you must have completed your junior year of high school and demonstrate a strong GPA. (Past Summer Honors students have had at least a 3.5 GPA when calculated using a 4.0 scale.)

2. When you submit your application, you must include the name and email of a high school teacher or guidance counselor who will provide a reference for you.

Be sure to ask your teacher/guidance counselor and verify their email address before entering it on your application.

3. Each applicant should also include the name/email of his/her/their guidance counselor. Some school districts offer scholarship support for students, and we must have this information to contact your counselor.

Application Notes

When you submit your application, an email is sent to the teacher/guidance counselor you have included as a reference. Your application is not complete until the online recommendation has been submitted.
When you are accepted to the program, an email will also be sent to your parent or legal guardian. Please be certain the email you enter is correct! We will use this contact information to confirm nutrition and medical information such as dietary need (vegetarian, gluten free, etc.) or medical issue (asthma, bee or wasp allergy, etc.).
Twins and siblings should make sure to use the same parent or legal guardian email address.
