    HOPE/Zell Miller Scholarhip Transient Request Form 2025-2026

    Please complete the following form if you are requesting the HOPE/Zell Miller Scholarship to study as a Transient Student at another HOPE Eligible Institution for Fall 2025 - Summer 2026 Academic Year.

    This form is not used to apply for HOPE/Zell Miller Scholarship Eligibility.

    In addition, I understand the following information....
    • I have completed a Transient Permission Form in the Registrar's Office.
    • If I am eligible for the HOPE Scholarship or Zell Miller Scholarship at UNG, a HOPE/Zell Miller Scholarship Eligibility Certificate for Transient Study will be processed and sent to the institution where I plan to study.  If the current term is an evaluation term for me (30th, 60th, 90th, end-of-Spring term checkpoint or three-term-checkpoint), my eligibility certificate cannot be processed until my current term grades are calculated and it is determined that I have remained HOPE/Zell Miller Scholarship eligible.
    • The host institution will be responsible for disbursing the scholarship funds to me for that term.  If my host institution is a private college, consult with them regarding the half-time requirement.
    • Any hours I attempt at another institution, including the grades earned, will be used in determining my continued HOPE/Zell Miller Scholarship eligibility.  Before I can receive additional financial aid at UNG, I must request that the host institutions Registrar send an Official Academic Transcript to the UNG Office of the Registrar at the end of the term.  Final grades for courses taken as a transient student must appear on the transcript.
    • I will notify the UNG Financial Aid Office when my transfer transcript has been evaluated.

     

    In addition, I understand the following information....
