Experience a day in the life of a Cadet at the University of North Georgia!
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to experience the Corps of Cadets first-hand by participating in the activities of the day on our Dahlonega campus.
What would your visit be like?
Arrival:
Report to the Cadet Recruiting Office in the Chestatee Building on our Dahlonega campus at 9:00 a.m., and you will be met by a Cadet who will serve as your host.
*Parents, an informational brief will be offered to you as your student departs for their experience*
Morning:
After arrival, your observational experience will begin with your student host. You will get to observe classes in the morning and see student life in the early mornings.
Afternoon:
As the afternoon classes wrap up, you will get to eat lunch at our state-of-the-art dining facility on campus, The Chow Hall. Following that you will continue see more campus life and classrooms until Corps Lab.
Mid-Afternoon:
At 3:00 p.m., you will start making your way to the cadet company areas to observe lab on Monday. This is where Cadets learn all of the skills needed in order to succeed as an officer.
Departure:
At 5:00 p.m., you will be brought back to the Cadet Recruiting Office by your host, and your day will be complete. You will be able to ask any follow-up questions upon completion of your visit, followed by an informational briefing of our program.
*Note: If you have already been to UNG for a personal visit and tour with Cadet Recruiting, you are not required to receive a presentation. However, we will answer any questions you may have.
